I had already been here about a year ago and found some lovely plants (before my green and collecting madness really exploded). Today I returned for an exploratory walk and I was super surprised when I found myself faced with a choice of Philodendron Ring On Fire: a cousin perhaps less sought after but still prominent for the elegance and variegation of its leaves. I found this same plant in another place at 10 times the price I paid for it today, I can't help but be super happy with it! I also purchased 2 small Philodendron Melanochrysum at a truly exceptional price, another underrated plant, in my opinion. What can I say... another nursery to visit more often! A mention also to the ladies in the indoor plants department, who shared moments of my madness while I explained to them which plant I crave most of all but which is unobtainable in Europe. The nursery is very large and in some departments I would say very expensive. The area dedicated to Christmas is beautiful. A place where you can pleasantly spend a couple of hours. I think it is one of the most beautiful nurseries because it is very organized and well-stocked.
Today I went to this store, which for me has always been an icon of Christmas since I was a child.
I go to the counter to have a bow made with simple red and gold ribbon.
The clerk begins to create the bow, at the time of payment he tells me that the bow costs €15.
Beautiful bow for goodness sake, but I read in the roll of ribbon that the red one cost two euros per meter and the gold one cost 0.90 cents (there are 3 meters of red bow and 2 meters of gold bow), so I can't understand how it is possible to have reached €15 (incredible surcharge).
For this reason, in my opinion, the clientele has halved.
Vivai dalle Rive at Christmas...simply magical!!! Wonderful for children and adults, large car park in front, located in a semi-hilly area in Zugliano, beautiful park with animals and small paths to walk, I recommend a stop at Luppoland, their craft brewery! At Christmas, kiosks with pancakes and drinks, entertainment for children and lots and lots of MAGIC!! Super recommended!
Very large and therefore with a huge choice of products. In addition to all the garden products, I have a space selling children's and beach toys, and a hardware store aisle.
Absolutely worth visiting during the Christmas holidays. One of a kind.
The nursery is good with a notable choice of flowers and plants. In my last visit it seems to me that the prices are not competitive compared to other nursery growers in the province. It also has a bar available to customers. Accessories for animals and for Christmas are a little high in price, but the rest is quite good.
